Bits

I had a nice taste of independence and freedom today (or something close to it) I actually drove to my friend's house. So normally, that's no biggie but you know how it is with mothers and their apron strings. After not much persuasion and whole lot of map-drawing (i have this ridiculous sense of direction...starting with the slowness in defining my rite and left...its THAT bad), I set out on my way. And yep...i made it there without making a nuisance of myself. Which is the least i could say for my journey home...i'm looking forward to forgetting it.

At her place, we fooled around a bit with her handphone and i managed to get her all worked up for a moment there...Then we saw a BIT of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (i think thats the title) which was interesting. It was about this pro figure skater who was quite good looking (which is why she has seen it SEveRal times, did i mention that its recorded?) who's girlfriend thought he needed prepping up. So they got a bunch of gay guys to do the job... Then we went out for lunch (delifrance...yummy!) and drank this Pearl Tea thing which she's VERY into. Oh yeah, she drove... She drives quite well if i may say so ( it takes one to know one..hahaha, i wish)

Anyway, lately , out of boredom, i've been going blog surfing. And i've found, with some recommendation, this really interesting and well written blog. If you're as bored as i am...go here.
As i just went along, i realised how much i know about a person whom i never knew existed b4. These ppl make their blogs very personal with pictures and all...a truly online journal. Everything is written online...strangers will know what you did today , yesterday and maybe even what you're going to do tomorrow. Personally, its a stalker's haven which is creepy. hmmm...friendster isn't any better. So my point is that bloggers should be careful of what information they dish out online. (I should start taking my own advice)

Coincidentally, as i blab here about privacy and being careful...this fella I've chatted to b4 but dont' know suddenly comes up and asks me to confirm my surname...which i denied (he actually got it rite) and i have NO idea how he knows cos i've always been careful not to put my full name anywhere online. So he freaked me out a lil and i ended up telling all sorts of crap... that i was studying in some Olypia College (i got their letter thing today..so first thing that came to mind) taking the CAT course. I forgot what CAT actually stood for (silly me to lie so unprepared) so at the suggestion of my brothers...i told him that it stood for Combat Armour Technics.0_0. He knew it was incredulous but went on the ask what the course's about. So i crapped something about 'complicated' and 'requires confidentiality'. Haih... i guessed that since i was already lying tru my nose, might as well do it well. Anyway....if my mom finds out ..i'm so dead (back to those apron strings)

Today, i spoke to a person with a personality trait which i greatly admire. This person is the most unassuming person i know. Which was very refreshing, in the sense that i didn't have to guess anything about the content of our conversation. I used to feel that this kind of behavior isn't all that tactful... but now that i've been on the receiving end of this... i actually like it. Tho mystery is something that makes life interesting...something out of the norm is excellent.
