I found out that UPM has been making the headlines quite a lot recently for things i know nothing about.
all that gangsterism, unregistered assosciations, pushing n shovin', violence... din even know they happened.
so much for 'stay cool, students at UPM advised'

Dang, i feel so out of it... like i'm not even in UPM. and THAT is how far my campus is from the main campus.
Just saw the video of the er...incident in UPM. and all i saw were a bunch of ppl shouting. But apparently, it could've been edited. Personally, the video per se doesn't give anyone much to shout about (pun intended) its more of the comments and reaction of the public that's most disturbing.
The comments are so...anti-malay or anti-chinese that its actually kinda scary to know that we're living in a country where there are ppl who hate some ppl that much based on prejudice alone.
The ones to worry about now are the commentators...and not the ppl in the video.

i totally agree with u girl. the fight's actually not that bad, but the hoo-ha from it... now that's a diff story. ppl are just blindly taking a stand against the 2 grps of students based on their race. wat la.
sherry i bet u were the 1 getting beaten up.anyway about this incident i dont blame the chinese for making such harsh comments.for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction in return.these ppl are only looking out for other chinese by voicing out.diff ppl have diff attitudes.some like u prefer to keep quiet and get along whilst others prefer to voice out what they're not happy with.its the typical tidak-apa-malaysian attitude.the 1 that should be worried is the government.
i,like ween,haven been reading the dailies often =P I've got a general idea of wad happened,but no details.IMO the students bully because they don't know how to respect,themselves and others.Although we live in a multiracial country,there's no denying that there exists individuals who think their race is superior to others.I guess we have to go to basics and figure out who and what caused this mindset.
i shall say.. shit happens all the time.. =P
