back again...

This lucky brat here is back...from Korea. This time i just went wit my mom and my mom alone. Left all the male species back at home. Why? the lil ones, too much trouble and the old ones too afraid of the cold.

About korea...COLD, freaking COLD weather. Sumtimes the wind gets so strong my ears hurt.
It was also GrEAt. Great COld weather. THere was also SNOW...SUPER COLD snow (didn't touch it much tho... couldn't feel it anyway, numb fingers) Lots of sludge and lovely FOOD. I LovE korean food, can't get enuff of it.

That fireperson is actually me... All geared up to learn how to ski. So i can proudly say that i'm certified as having mastered the 'ski gear wearing' technique. Unfortunately for the skiing part itself... i'll have to go again someday. (i swear to make it tru beginners slope)

The down side about the whole trip was....everything was SO SO expensive. Not that it was a surprise, but it certainly was more expensive than i thought.

All the stuff there (stuff tourists might want la) were priced above 10,000 won which translates into 38 ringgit. A pack of five seaweed was 10,000, this pillow of tea? leaves 10,000, cute little keychains -10,000 calenders of korean idols MoRe than 10,000. I mean, i may like Won Bin and all that but not to the extent of spending about 40 plus ringgit. Crazee. I like the way they sell things better in China. Its like the opposite.

Nope, barely any eye-candy. the good-looking koreans are all already on TV. Or maybe i just missed them.

Went for the edu fair last Sunday. Collected lots of papers to keep my dad occupied.. or he'll start bugging me about my future. And i went for the medicine career talk. So many ppl i tell you..it was actually worse than that Machi concert i went to. Ppl actually rushing to go listen to sum docs talks, imagine that. I shouldn't talk i guess...i was one of em.

There were 5 Doctors there and 2 of em were really good. One was not bad but he talk SOO slloooowwly... Bored outta my mind. But i did learn sum stuff, medicine is actualyll going to take longer that i first tot... i gave it 10 years, to be stable..but looks like it'll be about 13-15? Yegads...i'll be this old maid by the time that happens. No biggie... time passes soon enuff. After all, i HAve Suffered/enjoyed 13 years of school.

DId you read about the hoo-ha going on about that rich chap who wanted to donate to cancer org Makna? Well...they say this billionaire is a fraud. I personally don't really know much about the matter, but when i saw him on the news today where he was being interviewed...i really tot (for awhile la) that i tuned into a local comedy programme like kopitiam. I think it was his clothes. Or his tendency to talk dramatically.Or the background. or maybe he really is acting. Anyway, hope he's true cos then he'll be doing makna a real favour.
