Where was i?

I just returned from my holiday in china. U know, i honestly believe that for China, you should only go there 5 times. Beijing (cos its really great, historical stuff) , Shanghai (to see modern China), XiAn (terracotta warriors), one place wit great mountains and one place with great waterfalls. And if somehow you missed any small china towns along those trips you can always go again to ONE small china (should be ancestral la) town cos they REALlY all look the same.

Don't mean to sound ungrateful...i think i've been to too many china small towns till they're begining to be a bore.

This time, i went to Fuzhou, Xiamen and other bits that i really can't remember. In a mere 7 days, we hotel-hopped through 5 hotels and that's why i can't remember where i went. U know la, it takes a while for all that chinese names to settle in my slippery banana brain.
No 'WOW' scenery this time, only 'wow'. Many small towns...yeah, which reminded me of each other. Xiamen was pretty nice.

We went to at least FOUR tea demonstrations/salestalk or whatever it is you call them. Basically, they serve you tea, tell you LOTS of information (pls remember my banana status) about thier tea and hope you'll buy the tea. BTW, all of my china tours are conducted in mandarin, that's why the places i visit has little to no relevence.

So that's why i've decided to take back up my mandarin classes!! Hooray for me! Shedding banana skin...

People! pEopLE! I've been given a cONdITioNal offer to IMU. Why conditional? cos i've to get at least B+ B+ B+ for the science subjects in STPM... or else.............. so even tho this offers good news, i'll still be on the rocky road till D-Day. And please don't tell me that won't be a problem cos maths went really badly. I know...cos i was there.

Back to china...it was cold. I had a ghastly sorethroat for 2 days, such agony. and had what i believed was a mild fever, but no one believed me (bah, what do they know)... i swallowed lots of paracetamol anyway and was right as rain. Now, i've this horror cough and flaky legs, so scaly i could pass off as a mermaid if my legs got stuck together (knock wood). My bad, i didn't moisturise.

Best thing is that last week was the first time in weeks that i didn't get bitten by a mossie at all... but now, i already have 2 stabs. stupid bloodsuckers.

I've got work early tomorrow. and it 1 am now. Maybe i'll shout and call in sick... after all, i DO have a lil cough.
