I just saw the most ridiculous Steven Segal movie...action movie...movie.Period. It was boring, slow and saw steven segal conversing in Japanese. But it was funny cos most of the time, hE would be speaking english and that other person will be speaking japanese. (He supposed to have grown up in Japan, so what's the deal wit all that english) So while the audience try to figure out how those Japanese could understand his English (he mumbled calmy ALL the while, even I had difficulty) the people he spoke to for info (ie, girlfren, sensei, partner) ALL get KILLED around him. He does NOT save anyone. Also, when he finds out of their deaths...he wears the same stale expression of expressionlessness. And CALMLY puts the matter aside mumbling something about revenge. Guess what happens at the end? our hero here just walks up to the baddy, a scuffle ensues, seconds later, the enemy's squirting blood all over the place. Just like that. No investigation necessary actually, so all that ppl died unnecessarily.
Since that movie was so boring, i tried reading an equally boring/slow book while watching. It about this model who's boat gets hi-jacked by the hero, some top-secret gov agent. Okay, we see the boat hi-jacked on page 8... then they do that argueing bit (u know...how they 'get on each other's nerves')...ALL THE WAY until page 160 where they FINALLY hit the beach. That gives us 152 pages of squabling. i know. i put the book down n saw the movie instead. Lesser of the two evils (my dad insists that we finished what we started see)
Anyway, my morning was more interesting, myself n a bunch of classmates got together to discuss this up-coming treasure hunt our Kelab Pencegah Jenayah is organising. I must say it sounds pretty interesting. Its kinda like a murder mystery cum treasure hunt. I don't think they're making very hard tho...time constraints. Anyway, i brought my camera and managed to take some hilarious (to me lar) footage of our 'discussions'. Anyone wants to have a look, contact me....i believe in spreading joy n merriment. Needless to say, Jonathan was VERY ANNOYED. I actually have a video clip to prove it...the word 'annoyed' was mentioned about 5 times in those 10 seconds. But Jon was the ONLY one annoyed. heh heh..sorry man.
Yesterday, i attended this Easter/Good Friday meeting organised by the CF of Taman SEA. There was singing, a play, a speaker and a dance and of course prayers throughout. The play was quite good depicting Jesus's sacrifice to clear the sins of humanity. It was analogied into a son who was sentenced to death for a homicide his father commited. Amazingly, i understood it quite clearly. It was a serious drama, but i wanted to laugh because i know the actors. Lordson, who played the father, was VERY good n VERy dRAmAtic (think screaming n crying). N he's normally so cool in class. There were some other friends there too, all unusually serious looking. Anyway, it was fun.
I feel dull-witted.
