Christmas day- b4, during, after.

My mom threw this party thing on Christmas eve...(tho it had nothing to do with Christmas...we gave the kids presents) There was lots of yummy food...but i barely had any...a lil lack of appetite. However, i DID eat some sushi (which i made btw) while making it. It was yummy and did NOT (contrary to certain beliefs) cause any stomach problems.

Pity i did not take any pictures of the food...too lazy.

On Christmas day, i woke up late (per usual) lazed around the house with the cousins until it was time to go to my cousins' house. (different cousins lar) They were having this Christmas lunch so we had turkey, lamb, mashed potatoes and other scrumptious goodies.

SO happened MTV was tuned on...and they were showing this Christmas cartoons. I wouldn't call it 'cartoons' exactly more like 'animations' cos cartoons' are for kids. This animations however were plain, downrite sadistic... needless to say, we were all shocked/horrified/ disgusted...(hello? its christmas...not halloween)

Let me briefly describe to you a couple of them animations, just so you know... when we first started..there was this blue moose trying to break his own leg. So you could see the bone and the round red flesh squirting blood. then the moose whined and stuck a spoon into his exposed bone in order to break it.... then we zoom back..and the moose discovers (to his dismay) that he broke the wrong leg...(he was supposed to break the leg that was trapped under something) the poor dear had to now start the painful process over again. Ouch!

Hmmm...the horror of it seems to have lost itself in words...you've got to watch it to really know. THere were much worse, muCH worse... My father was horrified and kept wondering how can they show such things to kids and we had to keep reminding him that it WASN't for kids...its MTV. Worst part was that, we, the horrified audience, couldn't stop watching it.

Today, my relatives went back to Perak. They were happy to go..and we weren't exactly sad to see them leave either. Cos there were some compromises on our part that had to be made during their stay.

AFter their departure, we had the computer to ourselves and my brothers forced me to go play half life 2. quite exciting lar...a bit scary too..they went raving on about how realistic the grafics were and that the ppl actually looked at you went talking to you/Gordon. Not bad, but i was quite bad. Kept rite-clicking while using the wrong gun and practically blew myself up with grenades...

Then i went to a friend's house for her pot luck dinner. Managed to catch up with some old school mates and made some new friends. It was supposed to be a pot luck thing...but several ppl didn't bring any food but the food we had was yummy. The company was better tho (pity you missed it Bondi =P ) After food, we played cards. some game they called 'tortoise' but known to me as 'old maid' and a game they called 'bluff' but again...know to me as 'bullshit'. I didn't lose btw...i'm surprised...must be quite lucky today.

Then, they played 'monopoly'. Which i withdrew from...too 'sein' lar, that game. I don't know who won eventually.
THere was a lucky-draw style exchange of presents, and i got this aromatherapy burner thing...nice.
Then some picture taking...and a lil piano concert. There was this chun guy who played really impressively (i managed to record it!) so now i'm getting a lil lum. He was like 'woah!' hahaha...i exaggerate...but he really was good. A really smart guy too i hear...super high total for SAM i think. Then our host played a lil something (she was more modest and played this really nice soothing song). When my mom came...i left to the sounds of my old school anthem cos the girl who played it in school was there too.

Now i'm here trying to kill the mosiquitoes in my room with my bare hands. Killed 5 so far. Couldn't find the electric swat. Getting hungry.Hah! make that 8. Good nite!
