Toilets

I saw 2 channels today...one after the other...which were discussing the matter of toilets. the first programme was more of an english learning channel teaching us phrases like 'a pain in the proverbial' and how women had to spend time queuing up while the men were 'out in a flash'. Anyhow, that place (can't remember where) has decided that they 'don't have to be Einstein to figure out that the change was long overdue'. I guess they plan to build humungous toilets for the ladies. Oh, and toilets are also known as 'dunnies' in Australia. I must say that the programme was quite interesting.
Then the next channel was a Chinese (english speaking) channel, in which they went round China to find what must have been the most horrible of loos. So the poor host had to take a huge gulp of air b4 entering. That toilet had no doors, so they showed the blurried image of this guy playing with his handphone while doing his business. Then they interview this local who said that the place really stinks. Hahaha...actually, the toilets in China aren't bad as long as you stick to the usual tourist spots. In fact, nearly all the toilets i went to had locks. As for those that didnt', you would just have to hold the door shut.
Couple of days ago, i had this...encounter. I was pretty much attacked by a toilet bowl in a 5 star hotel. Naturally, it was my fault as i 'provoked' it. You see, this toilet bowl was armed with one of those squirter things used to clean the 'proverbials' of the lazy ppl. I've heard of it, but haven't really seen one i think. So there it was...and out of curiosity (the same one which killed some cat, i'm sure) i turned this knob. Then this thing popped out and started spraying for all its life's worth (the first thing that crossed my mind was, how in the world am i going to leave the toilet now). Thankfully, the damage was minimal, it only got me on the shoulder and the sleeve of the blouse i was wearing dries up quite well. Hmmm...there was this one other knob there too, but i didn't dare touch that one. It was a good thing there wasn't anyone around cos i nearly burst out laughing.
Nuff about toilets... I'm quite sick of em, literally.

Oops.. the last 2 comments weren't meant to be there.. What I actually wanted to say was about the wonder of the human brain. Ya know, creating harmful toilet bowls requires a certain degree of creativity.. =)
