oh the dilemma!!! in medical terms

should we use synthetase or synthase??!!

according to this discussion/vote, it's should be acyl-CoA SYNTHETASE...

So there really IS a difference between the two, tho i'm not sure if that'll make the studying life easire

synthetases are linked with the hydrolisis of ATP while synthases don't. There u have it...

Did a presentation last week and just for the fun of it, i decided to tell the diff between a sign and a symptom (mere semantics, i know, but hey, we need to know)
Apparently my lecturer wasn't conviced with my definitions... He said he was 'suspicious' about it.

Oh well, maybe cos he's an Oxford (UK) fan and i use Dorlands (US) dictionary. But it shouldn't be different...or THAT diff.

The same lecturer refers to me as 'the shock girl' or the 'small-sized girl' ("relative to me").. Shock cos he shocked me by asking me wat was the meaning of shock and i was too shocked to answer him...and also, i didn't know.

ohLOOK!! just got an SMS for the digi service and guess wat??!!
